Originally hailing from Tasmania, Dr Wendy Harvey moved to Queensland to study medicine at the University of Queensland. Since graduating in 2000 she has worked multiple roles in both private and public hospitals, all the while gaining experience in a range of medical fields.

Her interest in public health eventually saw her pursue a career as a general practitioner, a role she’s enjoyed for immensely. Dr Harvey’s focuses as a GP include evidence-based medical practice, working with older patients and women’s health.
